  They are Definitely Attacking "Higher Education"

  a friend of mine recently had his co visit and in the elders meeting the co out-right asked the question: how are the friends doing in your cong.

  as regards pursuing higher education?

  the co continued...you know in view of all the counsel from the slave regarding the dangers.

  It's not the college education that makes them leave. It's learning that they've been lied to their whole lives. The internet will do more damage than a college education will in the long run.

  Once they've stepped back and start paying attention. It's half way over and if they ever search for a KM online; it'll just be a matter of time before it's all over with.

  (speaking to myself) If only they would of given me my KM. If only someone would of been so kind as to give me a copy. I never would of had to go online to get a KM so that I could be prepared for the meeting. If only.

  "Higher Education" Follow Up

  so we had our co visit and we were quizzed about the "problem" of higher education as well.

  They are not enforced the same everywhere. In more affluent neighborhoods the JW's go to college. It is not frowned upon. It is viewed necessary so they can support themselves and their congregation. Sounds like something Jehovah wants for al of us.

  The bible doesnt say what type of work you need to do nor not to be educated. It just says still be kind and know the crowd you are dealing with so you can relate to them and not make people feel left out.

  Update about my Daughter In Law

  she has been such an inspiration .

  she has studied hard and next week will be recieving her associates of science degree with honors !

  You think your children are winning. They know Jehovah and are progressing foward spiritually. You are keeping them from the world and all is supposed to be great. Than you wake up and realize some serious damage has been done. You don't even know where to begin to fix it.

  I'm speaking from a Homeschooling parent perspective. I thought the society's way would be very pleasing to Jehovah. Then I leaarned the real deal. Im excited for your DIL, but I think her Mom would of done way better with her had she known better.

  All of us trying to raise children in the truth were bamboozled.

  before i stopped attending i noticed that several members left our hall.

  i also noticed that when family members gave talks there was an infux of visitors too support their relative.

  still i noticed, that our meeting attendance would go way down then all of a sudden our hall would be full of people we'd never seen before.. is this the new thing...the elders sending their families and ms servants to other halls to make it appear there is a lot of new members when the co comes to visit or when certain talks are given?.

  Why couldn't they include him in picking his own things and how he wanted to spend the monies donated toward his well being?

  Odd his friend maks all the decisions and did not disclose everything to him fully while on camera. Hmmmm

  Are we seeing the beginning of the end for Kingdom Halls?

  after all, "at this time,over 13,000 kingdom hall projects and 35 assembly hall projects are needed worldwide.".

  hmmm, not too sure about that but all the recent re-branding seems to be heading .

  could this be the long game?

  The greater number has cooled off as Jehovah speeds up the preaching work by using the internet to supply spiritual food.

  Since meetings will then occur once a week we will need fewer halls, but bigger assembly halls.

  There will no longer be a need for the service meeting and/or school because everyone can use the internet at home.

  Now the one hall will be used 7 days a week. We don't have to meet just on Sunday so we can efficently have 21 congregations meet in one hall with 3 different congregation meetings daily.

  The Regions are bigger than the districts because the attendance at the districts are decreasing Not increasing here in the USA.

  People will eventually catch on to witnesses being recylced to other halls. Not new meat. The old being repackaged or disguised as new.

  i think i read somewhere, here or maybe on another forum, that somebody claimed that c.t.

  russell stood on the brooklyn bridge with some others, all in white robes, in 1878, waiting for the rapture.

  any truth in that?.

  just dont know when i'm gonna be able to do that.. right now, i am working full time, i go to school part time, etc.

  i want to start traveling more, doing more activist work, visiting more apostate friends, and helping to get people out of this 'so called religion.'.

  in other words, i want to start going to un-preach where the need is great.
